As President of Ceres BioSystems Limited (“Ceres”) Kevin is responsible for setting the overall strategy for the Company. Kevin is also President,CEO and majority shareholder of CFI. He brings over 25 years of specialized corporate finance and executive management experience to the firm. Kevin joined CFI in the early 1990’s. Prior to CFI, Kevin held management positions with Credit Lyonnais (a predecessor to Credit Agricole) which was one of Canada’s most active foreign banking institutions at the time. Kevin is responsible for the day-to-day operations of CFIas well as developing new business strategies, and managing long-term growth and development. Kevin holds a BSc and an MBA from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Chris brings over 35 years of domestic and international banking and management experience to the position of Executive Vice President of Ceres BioSystems Limited. Chris is also Executive Vice President of CFI and President of CFI Capital (a wholly-owned subsidiary of CFI). He joined CFI in 1988 prior to which he was Vice President responsible for establishing the cross-Canada presence of Standard Chartered Bank. He has also held various managerial positions with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Chris is CFI’s infrastructure and power project specialist and has been instrumental in the initial funding of several of Canada’s leading hydroelectric development companies, many of which have gone on to become publicly listed entities, including: Algonquin Power and Utilities Corporation, Innergex Renewable Energy Inc, and Boralex Inc.
As Senior Vice President Operations, at Ceres BioSystems Limited Rob is responsible for the construction and day to day operations of all Ceres’ plants as well as plant relations and business development in all markets outside North America. Rob was previously President of N-Viro Systems Canada from 2008 to 2014 which was a portfolio company of the CFI Infrastructure Opportunities Fund (“CFI Fund”), a private equity fund managed by CFI Capital on behalf of institutional investors. The Canadian operations of N-Viro were sold in early 2014.Prior to 2008 Rob was VP Corporate Finance at CFI. From June 1995 to October 2003, Rob was an elected member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and a member of the Government of Ontario Cabinet. He held a variety of positions including Minister without Portfolio with Responsibility for Privatization, Minister of Correctional Services and Caucus Chair. Prior to entering politics, Rob worked at Toronto Dominion Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank. Rob holds a BA and an MBA from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
